We took this picture before going to church this morning. Jack loves to sit up. He still needs some help, but he's getting there!

Walker Mississippi Ranger

Saturday night we bought Jack a walker. He can bear all of his weight on his legs, and loves to "stand up" with support. We thought he would really enjoy a walker so he could explore the house. Well, he loves the toys on the walker.....

There's just one small problem...

Poor thing just cannot reach the floor! He can streeeetch one foot to touch the floor (as you can see), but his other foot is a good 6 inches off the ground. He's only happy in the walker for a couple of minutes, then he's frustrated. I guess we'll put the walker up for another month or so! In the first picture you can probably see his two bottom teeth that have come in. Many more to come!

What fun!

Jack loves his stuffed puppy. He'll lie in his crib and talked to that puppy for up to an hour. It's so sweet! Here's two videos of him laughing at the puppy. Clint is dropping the puppy on Jack's stomach, and you can see he thinks it's hilarious!

I like carrots the best...

Jack tried carrots tonight. It was very messy, but lots of fun! Jack ate 1 1/2 jars of carrots and then had 3 ounces of milk before he went to sleep. The whole time he was eating, he was putting his feet and hands in his mouth and then smearing the carrots over his whole body. It made for a fun feeding and a much-needed bath!

Green Beans!!

Tonight Jack started solids. He ate over half a jar of green beans and really seemed to like them! He is such a moving baby, he was hard to feed! Clint took the video and he also found it necessary to video Flapper. Ha!

4 months old!

We've been very busy around the Iles house! I (Amanda) started back to work, Jack started daycare, and Clint has been busy with his research and will be starting fall classes soon! Monday Jack went to get his 4 month shots. He now weighs 14.4 pounds and is 24 1/2 inches long. The funny thing is that he is in the 50th percentile in height and weight, but he is in the 75th percentile in head size. Poor baby...he'll grow into it one day. Look down at the last post, "Baby's Best Friend" and in the second picture you'll see a good picture of his head. Haha!! This is a picture of him standing with Clint helping him. Those legs are getting stronger!
