More Christmas Pictures

This is Jack right after we got back home to Starkville. We put him in his playpen while we unloaded the car. We put all of his new toys in there and let him play. As you can see, he is in baby heaven!!

Our little family on Christmas Day

Christmas 2007

We had a wonderful Christmas! Jack had such a great time with family. He is crawling all over the place and pulling up on everything - whether it's sturdy or not! He is really mimicking people now. It's hilarious. He'll try to copy sounds you make. Jennifer taught him to wave bye-bye, but he won't do it all the time. We'll keep practicing! Here's some pictures from our beautiful Christmas!! I'll have to put them into two different posts because there's so many.

Christmas is Coming...

Jack has really been enjoying the Christmas festivities. We brought him to the children's musical at church Sunday night and I had to take him to the nursery within the first five minutes because he was squealing so loud when he saw the lights and heard the music! Clint took this picture of us before the musical. Isn't that hat precious?

The Christmas Season is Officially Here!

According to Clint, the Christmas season officially starts on December 1st. Yesterday we went to the National Wildlife Refuge and got a $10 Christmas tree. At first I objected, but I didn't want to drive to Columbus to the tree farm, so I went along with Clint's "all natural" tree. The tree was actually cut out of the woods yesterday morning. It's definitely not the prettiest tree in Mississippi, but it might be the cheapest. Ha! Anyway, the refuge gave out greenery if you bought a tree from them, so we wired red berries and made a beautiful centerpiece for the kitchen table. Jack LOVES the lights! It's going to be a fun Christmas!

Baby Dedication

Last Sunday was Jack's baby dedication. It was a very special time for us!

Meet My Friends!

These are the kids Jack goes to daycare with! I think he really missed them over Thanksgiving. He smiled really big when he saw them all Monday morning. As you can see, Jack is really "hamming it up" in these pictures!

Aunt Laura

Laura had not seen Jack since June, and they really had fun together at Thanksgiving! One day she can cut his hair (if he ever grows enough - ha!)

Jack and Noah

"How's your crop doing this year, Farmer Noah?"

I had so much fun playing with Jack and Noah!

Jack and Noah got to play while we were in Dry Creek for Thanksgiving. They were so much fun together! They really interacted more than we had expected. Noah loved to show Jack all the things he can do, and Jack was very entertained! We cannot wait until Christmas when they can play again.

Flapper's Video

My Best Friend

Jack has taken a sudden interest in Flapper. His highchair is right by the window, and he leans over (and almost falls out!) trying to see her. This morning I put him on a blanket on the back porch and he and Flapper had a ball together! Flapper is still a little too hyper for him, but he doesn't seem to mind.

Happy Fall, Y'all!

It's not as easy as it seems...

Jack is learning to feed himself. He's having a great time, but he still needs lots of practice! Here he is with his beloved Fruit Puffs (thanks Aunt Robin for the feeding tips!)

Lately...

So sorry I have not been keeping up with the blog lately! I am taking Jack outside and taking lots of pictures this week - I promise! With the time change it's hard to spend much time outside before it gets dark. I'll also be putting up some Halloween pictures this week.
Everything is going well at the Ileses' house! Clint is very busy with classes and I'm excited about a long break coming up in two weeks! We are looking forward to spending a few days in Louisiana for Thanksgiving.
Jack is learning new things every day! He sits up very well now and is learning to scoot across the floor. He's so much fun!
Here are a few pictures we took tonight.

Green Bean Catastrophe

Clint was feeding Jack some green beans and left the room for a second. He thought he had the green beans out of Jack's reach, but Jack turned them over and made a huge mess! He had a great time. Don't worry, Clint wouldn't really give Jack a whoopin'. Ha!

Fun Weekend

We took a trip to Louisiana this weekend where Jack got to visit with grandparents! Here's a picture of my mom with Jack right before we left DeRidder.

An Apple a Day...

For those of you that know me best, you know that I have eaten an apple a day since I was very young. I don't know why; I just never get tired of them! Even now I cut up an apple every morning and bring it to school for lunch. Well, Jack showed great interest in my apple core today, so I let him have it. He gnawed on that thing forever. I finally took it away from him. Like momma like son!

Jack-O-Lantern

I bought this outfit for Jack last weekend. He couldn't be any cuter!

6 Months Old!

We had a great weekend! PawPaw and Grandee came up Friday-Sunday and we had a wonderful visit. Saturday Grandee and I went and bought Jack a highchair, a smaller stroller, and some winter clothes! Jack had a great time with his new things, but the best toy was the highchair box that PawPaw turned into a submarine! Jack loved sitting in the submarine and smiling at everyone. The highchair has been great fun for everyone. Jack loves to sit in it and bang on the tray and look out the window, and Clint and I enjoy eating a meal without having to hold him.

Jack went for his six month shots today. He now weighs 16 lbs and is 26 1/2 inches long. He is 75% in height and 25% in weight. He's eating all sorts of food now, but his favorite is applesauce. He's a very loved 6 month old boy!

Ready...Set...Hike!

Jack loves the television. Clint is so proud because Jack will actually watch football with him! They look like two peas in a pod. Here's Jack sitting on the rug watching the game.

Sitting up!

Jack is sitting up by propping himself pretty well. He still falls over after a while, but he loves the world from this view!!

I wanna be a crawler...

Jack wants to crawl so bad! He has the motion down; he's just not strong enough to get those legs underneath him. It's so cute, though!

Visit from Grandfathers

Bro. Curt (PawPaw) and Mr. Terry (PaPaw) came to visit this weekend. Jack really enjoyed their company, and so did we! Thanks for the great meal and good company.

I'm not sleepy!
