Almost Rolling

Here's a video of Jack playing with his toys and almost rolling over. If he could just roll over that left arm, he'd have it! As you can see, he is happiest in just his diaper!

New Sleeping Position

For some reason this is how Jack likes to sleep now! He rolls over to this position any time he takes a nap or goes to sleep at night. He just doesn't look comfortable to me! I try to roll him to his back, but he rolls right back to his side!

Tummy Time

This is my last week at home with Jack before school starts! We have enjoyed sleeping in and soaking in every minute of the week. Jack has been working on his rolling lately. It's amazing how much better he has gotten in the past couple of days. I'll try to catch it on video! Here's Jack working on his Tummy Time.

I would love to say that Jack is interested in books. The truth is that I propped everything up and took a quick picture before the book, the baby, and the pose fell over. It made for a funny picture, though!

Future Dry Creek Camper

Great MeMe mailed Jack this adorable t-shirt. It says "Future Camper Dry Creek Camp"
John gave him the camou hat. The hat is really made for a toddler, but Jack's head is so big it almost fits him. Haha!

Jack's First Swim

At a recent trip to Beauregard Parish, Jack had his first swim! I didn't have swimtrunks for him, so he went skinny-dipping!! He loved to splash and play and was completely exhausted when he was done

I fell back in love with my swing...

Jack and swings have a love/hate relationship. Usually when I put him in the swing at home he throws an absolute fit until I take him out, but he LOVES the swing at church! This afternoon I decided to give the swing at home one more shot. He had a great time! Here's a video showing Jack playing with the toys on the tray of the swing. You can see that his eye-hand coordination is not quite fine-tuned. Ha!

Gone Fishin'

Our good friends Scott and Lydia Edwards invited us out to fish this evening! We had a great time catching fish and visiting. Sable, their puppy, was also a great fisher dog! Jack enjoyed hanging out by the pond and listening to the fish flop around!
